New Covenant Presbyterian Church offers New Members Classes for those interested in learning more about New Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCA) and church membership. Those wishing to learn more are encouraged to attend.
Also, anyone who simply would like to inquire about the subjects taught may also join in on Sunday mornings. Inquirers may attend as many or as few classes as they prefer, but those there for the New Members Class are required to attend as many of the sessions as they are able.
Topics of the classes included:
- Church and Church Membership: Privileges and Responsibilities
- Responsibilities of Elders and Deacons
- Doctrine of the Trinity
- Doctrines of Grace
- Covenant Theology
- Sacraments: Lord's Supper and Baptism
- Scripture and Confessional Documents
The New Members Class for 2022 is being held each Sunday afternoon for one hour starting at 4:00 pm. We will cover 6 lessons from Jan. 30 through March 6th. We welcome those interested in church membership as well as those who are simply inquiring about the topics at hand and want to learn more. Email the office if you think that you might be interesting in attending these Sunday afternoon classes, or if you simply have questions for Rev. David Senters who teaches the class.
The 2021 classes was held from Sep. 5th through Oct. 10th. The 2020 classes taught by Rev. David Senters were held on Nov. 1, 8, 15, 22, and Dec. 6. Childcare was provided. In 2019, we also completed both the Spring and Fall New Members / Inquirers Classes taught by Mr. Travis Peacock. Congratulations to all those who attended!
