Midway Congregational Church Service 2022

Midway Congregational Church Worship Service and Picnic | 10:30 am | 
Join us for morning worship at the historic Midway Congregational Church (click this link for more information about the church). Our family style worship is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.

There will be no Sunday School nor nursery available. We will have children's bulletin pages available for the kids. Everyone is invited to bring their own picnic lunch to enjoy on the grounds after the service. Lawn chairs are recommended. There is no climate control inside the church so please dress accordingly.

The church is located at the intersection of US 17 (North Coastal Highway) and Martin Road (Old Sunbury Road) in Midway, Georgia.

The Midway Church historical marker reads, "Built in 1792. Replaced Colonial meeting house burned by British in 1778. Sherman’s cavalry camped here in 1864. Midway settlement produced many of Georgia’s most famous men." It has been home to some very well-known and well-loved ministers, statesmen and poets.
